We’re a small, family-run lawn care business based in Nottingham, working with homeowners across the local area. While the work we do is practical and hands-on, the way we work and the way we treat people is what really sets us apart.
A calm, well-planned working day — by design
One of the things new team members often comment on is how different Greener Gardens feels compared to previous roles.
Our working days are carefully planned. Routes are local. Expectations are clear. There’s no rush to squeeze in “just one more job” at the end of the day and no evening or weekend working. This allows our technicians to focus on doing a good job combined with proper advice and, still enjoy time at home.
When new team members join us, one of the first things they notice is the difference in atmosphere:

Pride in work, not pressure
Working at Greener Gardens isn’t about ticking boxes or racing the clock. It’s about caring for lawns over time, guiding and helping customers understand what their garden needs, season by season.
Our technicians visit the same customers regularly, often over many years. That continuity builds trust, pride and genuine relationships. You get to see the results of your work and know that your advice is valued.

Supported, not left to struggle
Although much of the role involves working independently, no one at Greener Gardens is left to struggle on their own.
We provide structured training, clear processes and ongoing support. There’s always someone at the end of the phone if advice is needed and we work together during busier periods or larger projects.
Our customer services team also plays an important role, following up on recommendations and helping customers take the next steps. This teamwork allows technicians to focus on what they do best — delivering great lawn care and honest, professional advice.

Most of our customers are based within around ten miles of our operational base in Bradmore, Nottingham. Keeping work local means less time driving, more time doing meaningful work and more energy left at the end of the day.
This role suits people who value consistency, routine and finishing the day knowing the work has been done properly. It’s one of the reasons many of our most successful team members have stayed with Greener Gardens long-term.
