Greener Gardens Visits the UKLCA Summer Festival at DLF Seeds
The Greener Gardens team had the pleasure of attending the UKLCA Summer Festival, hosted by DLF Seeds — one of the leading names in seed innovation. Set in the beautiful surroundings of DLF’s UK headquarters and new Living landscapes show area the day was a fantastic mix of informal training, industry insight and behind-the-scenes access.
The event brought together over 50 independent lawn care companies from across the country, all keen to learn, connect, and share ideas. We had the chance to meet other professionals, discuss seasonal challenges and explore what’s new in grass seed development — all in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
A highlight of the day was the guided tour of the DLF seed processing and packaging facility. It was fascinating to see the level of detail that goes into producing the high-quality seed we rely on for our lawn renovations. From initial harvesting to final packaging, every step is about quality, consistency and innovation.
We also took part in informal training sessions, covering everything from grass variety performance to managing turf in changing climates — a growing priority for all of us in the lawn care industry.
It was a valuable and enjoyable day for the whole team. We’re already putting some of what we learned into practice, helping us deliver even better results for our customers.
