Some welcomed rain!

The rain today will be a welcome relief for our lawns and gardens.

During the last week we have seen a number of lawns showing signs of stress caused by lack of adequate moisture levels.  During our summer visits, we will review each treatment and advise accordingly.

This isn’t surprising as our weather indicates that more water is evaporating from the grass than being replaced through natural rainfall.

The above charts show that the current forecast is for 6mm rainfall in the next week, however in the same period 23mm will evaporate through the grass plant leaf, resulting in additional stress toward the end of next week

web site is updated with lots of topical with seasonal care notes and included a page on drought advice.

Have a great weekend and we look forward to a lot more rain
