Greener Gardens will treat your lawn up to five times a year using the latest "state of the art" fertilisers, to feed your lawn with the correct balance of food, during the changing seasons.
Like any other plant, grass requires feeding at regular intervals throughout the year to achieve the optimum density, colour and texture associated with a truly beautiful lawn. At Greener Gardens we use only top quality products that are not available to the homeowner. All of our lawn professionals are National Proficiency Test Council certificated in the use of fertilisers and herbicides.

Turf Maintenance Treatments:
Spring Treatment
We treat your lawn with our spring lawn food. This early season application provides nutrients to build a thicker, greener lawn from the roots up. We also treat with a selective moss killer as required.
Early Summer Treatment
We treat your lawn with a no-scorch homogenous granular feed for a greener lawn without surge growth. We also spray a herbicide to kill off broad-leaved weeds and clover as required.
Summer Treatment
We treat your lawn with a granular treatment to maintain a greener lawn. In addition we will spot treat weeds as required.
Autumn Treatment
Our autumn feed releases the correct balance of nutrients for the grass plant throughout the autumn period, feeding and strengthening roots; this will maintain your green lawns without surge growth. We will treat with a moss and/or an herbicide as required to control problems during autumn.
Winter Treatment
Our winter treatment continues to strengthen the roots of the plant; this treatment helps with maintaining a great looking lawn and promotes early greening next season. We treat moss as required for added control over winter and early spring.
Optional Cultural Treatments:
Aeration
The most effective way to improve the drainage and ensure oxygen supply to the turf roots. This procedure is vital to the removal and continued control of moss. Hollow-Tine aeration helps to reduce thatch and sub surface soil compaction, which is normally found on clay soils.
Scarification
This is a mechanical procedure for the removal of decaying material on the soils surface; this in turn opens channels for water, air and nutrients to get through to the soil. Scarification can be very hard work for the home gardener when using a rake or domestic scarifier.
Over Seeding
Did you know that up to 25% of your lawn dies each year, the stronger grasses germinate and become more dominant in your lawn, often resulting in a varied texture and inconsistent colour. We can rejuvenate your tired lawn with latest grass seed varieties not available in garden centres, resulting in a great colour and texture and hardiness
Our price for lawn treatments often works out cheaper than purchasing products from your local garden centre. Ask now for a FREE survey and quotation.
